•One resource file...listing individual volunteer preferences (LOVE INC helps set this file in place)
•Our goal...to do the best you can with the resources at hand

If You Have the Time...

In 5 minutes,
you can make a latch-key child feel safe with a friendly voice to check in with after school.
In 30 minutes,
you can provide an elderly person with a much needed ride to the doctor's office, and some
friendly conversation on the way.
In 1 hour,
you can teach a mother how to cook a well-balanced meal on a budget.
In 1 evening,
you can change a life from one of desperation to one of inspiration by teaching low-income couples how
to find a job and manage their money.

If You Have the Desire,
But Not the Time..
1. Donate to your church and specify "for LOVE INC referrals."

$5.00 can get someone back and forth to work for a week.
$20.00 can feed a family of five for a day.
$50.00 can provide heat for an elderly person for a month.
$100.00 can buy shoes for a dozen poor children.

2. Send a contribution to your local LOVE INC office to keep the connection between people with needs and Christians who care.
